1 The Occupational Health and Safety Act 1989, the Occupational Health and Safety (Certification of Plant Users and Operators) Regulation 2000 and the Occupational Health and Safety (General) Regulation 2007 were repealed by the Work Safety Legislation Amendment Act 2009, s 4 (1).

Despite its repeal, the Occupational Health and Safety (Certification of Plant Users and Operators) Regulation 2000 continues to apply to certain people doing scheduled work until 1 October 2014 under transitional arrangements by the Work Safety Regulation 2009, pt 13.

The offences and infringement notice penalties set out in this regulation, sch 1, pt 1.3 continue to apply to the people to whom the Occupational Health and Safety (Certification of Plant Users and Operators) Regulation 2000 continues to apply.
