This regulation was made as part of the Planning, Building and Environment Legislation Amendment Act 2017 (see A2017-3 s 28 and s 29) and is taken to have been made under the Utilities (Technical Regulation) Act 2014 A2014-60 (see s 113 (1) as ins by A2017-3 s 28).

The Utilities (Technical Regulation) Regulation 2017 is taken to have been notified under the Legislation Act 2001 on the day the Planning, Building and Environment Legislation Amendment Act 2017 was notified.
