This regulation was made as part of the Consumer Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2019 (see A2019-2, s 4 and sch 2) and is taken to have been made under the Eggs (Labelling and Sale) Act 2001 A2001-83 (see A2019-2, s 4).

The Eggs (Labelling and Sale) Regulation 2019 is taken to have been notified under the Legislation Act 2001 on the day the Consumer Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2019 was notified.
